Sydney-based producer, SangLien, set to release EP that blends liquid bass and old school house
Skirting the fringes of electronic music, Sydney-based producer, SangLien, blends old school house, UK Garage, and liquid bass into a sound that is unmistakably his own. Known for his theatrical presence on stage and an androgynous, eccentric, SangLien has been dubbed the “Prince of Liquid” — a title that speaks as much to his aesthetic as to his sound.
Later this year he’s set to release a new EP entitled “NorthSide” and this week he’s sent us the first single off the album. The single is called “Sample Some O’ That” and it has the liquid bouncy bass that feels both old school and fresh for today.
