Jake Paul will lock horns with former WBA (Super), IBF, WBO and IBO Heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua, later this evening (Fri., Dec. 19, 2025), streaming LIVE on Netflix from inside Kaseya Center in Miami, Fla., in an eight-round professional boxing match that will truly test “El Gallo” like never before.

Paul was initially slated to face Gervonta Davis a few months ago before the fight was scrapped because of “Tank’s” lingering legal issues. Paul and his team were quick to lock down Joshua as an opponent, which caught everyone (including UFC CEO, Dana White) by surprise — the towering Brit is a legitimate former boxing champion who isn’t washed by any stretch of the imagination.
That’s the reason(s) many feel that it likely won’t end for Paul, which could signal the downfall of his oft-criticized boxing career.
In other action, former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) title holders, Anderson Silva vs. Tyron Woodley, will put on the gloves once again to battle each other. In addition, Alycia Baumgardner will face Leila Beaudoin for the Unified Super Featherweight title.

Paul unloads a big overhand right that is blocked. They clinch and they take a fall through the ropes. Jab to the body from Paul. They clinch again. Two jabs from Paul. Jake circling again and ducks from a big right hand from Joshua. They clinch again. Two jabs from Joshua miss. Right hand to the body from Paul. Joshua still hasn’t landed anything of note. Paul lands a jab. Joshua looking for the homerun shot. Paul lands a left hand. They clinch again. Paul throws a right uppercut, barely misses. Paul jabs Joshua, then clinches again. Paul with an overhand right, misses and Joshua throws him down. Left hand lands for Jake Paul, an then a stiff jab. Paul goes for the takedown? He gets warned by the ref for those theatrics. They clinch again and Paul with a few shots to the body. Paul ducks underneath a big right hand from Joshua. Paul throws a looping right and takes a fall…what is going on? Joshua lands a right uppercut. Paul goes in for another takedown…seriously. Paul takes a tumble and he is exhausted. Apparently it was a low blow from Joshua.
