We know Tyler Shough can win games in the NFC South with a skeleton crew around him. So how can the New Orleans Saints do a better job of supporting him in 2026? With just a couple of games left on the schedule in 2025, we’re going to take a way-too-early look at some of the free agents and draft prospects who could be available in the spring.
There are three tiers in our system: premium starters who should earn top dollar on the open market, budget signings who can compete for a starting job without breaking the bank, and early-round draft targets who could be a top-50 pick. We’re only highlighting two or three names in each tier, so don’t think these are the only players available or even the best fits. They’re just on our radar as the regular season draws to a close.
